athena.Web Services

Privacy, in plain language.

This notice describes project inquiries and, when enabled, fixed-package purchases and client onboarding on the Athena Web Services website.

What you share

The guided request and simple contact forms collect your name, business name, email, selected service, optional add-on choices, website goal, size and starting package, any attached design inspiration or launch plan, preferred timing, content readiness, your brief, optional inspiration website links and notes, your starting situation and desired website feel, and an optional existing website. It also records when the request was sent and your consent to be contacted about it. Please do not send passwords, payment card details, or sensitive personal records.

Purchases and private project briefs

When online checkout is available, Stripe processes payment and shares the purchased package, payment reference, purchaser name, and checkout email with Athena. We store an order record and use it to send a transactional welcome email through Resend. We do not store payment card numbers. The welcome email contains a private project-brief link; anyone with that link can access that project’s intake form, so keep it private. The brief collects approved business and website information for the purchased project. A purchase does not automatically subscribe you to a marketing list.

The free website launch plan

The planning tool runs in your browser. It does not require an email address, account, or payment. If you choose to use a plan for a quote request, its recommendations are included with the details you submit. The copy button places your plan on your device clipboard when supported; it does not send it to Athena.

Business guides and browser-saved planning

Business-guide checklist ticks and the three-line business brief are stored in your browser’s local storage when available. They are not sent to Athena or synced across devices. You can clear them with the controls in each tool or by clearing browser data. Please keep private customer records, passwords, and payment details out of the business brief. The copy button copies the displayed brief to your device clipboard when supported. The business calculator runs locally and does not save your entries. If you paste a brief into a project request and submit it, it becomes part of that inquiry.

How we use it

We use the information to assess your project, respond to you, prepare a proposal, and manage the inquiry. Sending this form does not subscribe you to a marketing list. We do not sell inquiry information.

Storage and access

Requests are stored in a hosted database and can be reviewed in Athena’s restricted inbox. The website hosting provider processes technical request data needed to deliver and protect the service. No advertising or analytics scripts have been added to this version of the website. Hosting or sign-in services may use their own essential technologies.

Your choices

You can ask to correct or delete your inquiry by submitting a new brief with your request and the original reference number. We may need to verify that you control the email address associated with the request. We keep inquiry details only while they are needed for the inquiry or resulting project, subject to any applicable recordkeeping requirements.

Optional third-party resources

Some pages link to MyCompanyWorks and SiteGround using referral or affiliate links. Athena may receive compensation from qualifying purchases, as disclosed near those links. Clicking opens the provider’s website, where its privacy and tracking policies apply. We do not send your Athena inquiry or checklist entries to those providers. You choose whether to share information with them.

Payments and notifications

The inquiry and simple-contact forms do not take payment and do not currently send automatic confirmation emails. When fixed-package checkout is enabled, Stripe handles payment and Resend sends a welcome email after payment confirmation. The respective providers process the information necessary to supply those services under their own privacy information.
